Just like I expected, Standard comfirmed to be playing without most their key players. Conceicao, Geraerts, Defour, Jovanovic, De Camargo & Sarr are all missing ! Without them, Standard really istn't concidered a competitive team.

* Gent & draw dropped from 1.959 to 1.930
not much has changed, Sterchélé scored a goal yesterday so Ogunsoto will have to score in this match. Still believe the draw gives both a win win situation. Concidering a bet on the over 2.5 at the moment.

* Lierse dropped from 3.00 to 2.68
The league has send a person to monitor this match to see if everything will be played fair knowing the situation with Beveren and adding up the fact that the son of Lokeren Coach is playing with Lierse. So he will relegate if his dad's team takes points.

This is by far the most important match of the season for Lierse. They absolutely have to win this. Knowing this is their final chance, they will be 200% motivated and they should give it everything they got untill the last minute. If they win it and if Beveren does not take 3 points against Stvv they move up a place in the ranking which guarantuees them play-offs to stay in 1st division. Lokeren had a poor season and the only motivation they have for this match is to give they beloved Runar Christinson an unforgettable last match. Most Lokeren fans would be more then happy to see their rivals from beveren end last in the league. The Draw would not be a good result for eighter team here so I favor a very motivated Lierse who have proven to be able to put up some good results last couple months to get the win at very valuable odds.

AA Gent still has a rather good chance to get the last available UEFA ticket, but they will need some help. First they have to ensure their 4th place in the standings by at least taking 1 point in their match against Westerlo this Saturday. Once that job is done, they have to count on Standard to win the cup in order to get the ticket. So AA Gent would be more then happy if they could have a draw in this match ! Westerlo is playing at home and will be looking to please their fans at home. Ogunsoto is still in the running to become Top Goal scorer of the League, and will be looking for 1 or more goals if possible. This is one of those matches where both teams would be happy to make an open deal if it would be legal. A draw would be an excellent result for both teams. AA Gent will stay 4th and still has a chance for UEFA & Westerlo would be more then happy not to lose for their home croud and if possible take 1 or 2 goals for their star player Ogunsoto.
I'm taking the Draw (3.30 odds @ bet365) and no bet in case AA Gent wins (2.46 odds @ Betfair) because they are the team that can't afford losing.

Standard managed to ensure their 3th position that gives them their UEFA ticket last week by winning against Brugge. With nothing left to play for and the cup final comming up in a week their main objective for this match will be to stay away from any injurys and give some important players some rest. Moeskroen will one again be very mortivated against a top team at home even though they also have nothing left to play for. Specially at home they have been a very difficult team to beat and I expect nothing less in this last week of the season. Standard won't have an easy match and I defenatly see Moeskroen taking points which would make then unbeaten at home since the winter break. Odds for the + 0.25 handicap came out at a very competitive 1.975 price and have been fluctuating around 1.9 afterwards. Not gonna wait any longer and take the 1.917 @ pinnacle.

I'm taking this same bet for the same reasons that are quoted from last week. Adding the fact that zitka has something to make up for, it won't be easy for Brussels to score.

Genk has to win this in order to stay in the race for the title (assuming anderlecht gets it done against Brussels) Same story als last 2 weeks were Genk had a really difficult time to get the win against Moeskroen and Lokeren. They won both those matches with luck and some help from the ref. Facing Charleroi tonight is a much more difficult task then those 2 previous matches. Odds are too much in favor of the home team and I'm taking charleroi not to lose by more then 1 goal.

Lierse has gone trough a long period of "matches of the last chance" that they absolutely had to win. Once again today they have to win against Moeskroen to stay in the running for play-offs. Moeskroen is a team with a lot of momentum right now. Things are going good, goals are being scored and motivation still seems to be very high dispite having nothing to play for. Demba Ba back from injury is back in great form proving he's extremely important for this team. Top Goal Scorer custovic will join the team again for this match which also an important factor. Lierse won't get this victory for free tonight and I'm backing Moeskroen to take at least a point.

Very interesting matchup ! here's what's at stake:
* Both Teams have the same objective at end the season : UEFA ticket !
* Standard will be granted a ticket if they stay 3th
* Brugge will be granted a ticket if they win the cup in which they play the final against the same Standard.
* So if it was legal to make a deal, I'm sure both teams would help each other out because the importance of playing in Uefa cup can not be underestimated.

Here is where things get interesting:
Standard has a record not being able to win under pressure, so if they allready have the UEFA ticket they might be a more dangerous matchup for Brugge in the Cup Final.

Both teams played and won their cup match this week, Standard got it done at home against Anderlecht who needed the win

Final Toughts
Given all the facts there is a good chance that Brugge won't give it a 100% against Standard who absolutely have to win this match to keep their 3th position in the standings with 1 more difficult match to be played next week. Even with Brugge going for the win, there is still a good chance of standard winning this match. Them having a habit to fail under pressure holds me back from betting more units on this.
